Important Tips You Should Know...

1. When adding new fish to a pond or aquarium, always float them in the bag until the temperatures are the same -- approximately 15 minutes.
2. Before releasing new fish, add water from the pond or aquarium to the bag to avoid PH shock.
3. When releasing a fish into an aquarium, do not add bag water.
4. Never over feed your fish.
5. When pond water temperatures fall below 55 degrees F, do not feed fish.
6. When purchasing plants always check the zones.
7. When planting bog plants and lilies, make sure the crown of the plant is above the soil.
8. Marginal and bog plants can be planted above the waterline, or 2-4 inches below.
9. Most aquatic plants require at least 5 hours of sunlight a day.
10. Use clay based soil when planting lilies. Avoid potting soil.
11. Fertilize plants only during growing season.
